If so, can you just disconnect the RKE (remote keyless entry) module and then check for lock unlock by key and hand. This will confirm that atleast spark's basic central locking is working fine. For the dash light point, is it Red car symbol you are getting, and the dome light is on, then it could be because the door is not fully closed. The 6*4 COB LED last very less time. Replaced that with 48 SMD LED matrix (6*8). It's really bright. I tried some LED festoon bulb, straight swap with OEM, those are brighter than OEM. But after using this 48 SMD LED matrix, I didn't changed. Other LED change are T10 in license plate. So far I did it at non-critical one only. Changed the T10 for parking but after turning headlight combination of white and yellow doesn't look good so back to halogen. I need to dig pics of license plate and dome, will update later.

I have completed the cargo lamp. Check that out in below post. Those who have trunk light already they don't need much work as they can simply replace existing bulb with LED or if they want to put light in 2 place it's still easier. The flexible light I used is the one sold normally as "Audi style DRL" having silicon tube outside and LED inside.

Luckily, pointed sensor 1, although alarm was for sensor 2 which I can't able to see, it need car to be lifted up. Finally, decided to try my luck. This is type I mentioned, I am using with earphones. Only you need to keep it charged and turn on every time. Also, one more type Bluetooth adaptor I have seen similar to this one. They have USB port at one end and Aux at another. But those usually give mono output, instead of stereo.

Struck by luck again!!! This time I got P0138 (O2 sensor circuit high voltage (Bank1 Sensor2)) and more importantly "check engine" light. I didn't try to clear it as I was on way. But this time I am more concerned due to check engine light. Can someone tell where are these O2 sensor located. I am afraid this may be caused by loose connection or so. Another idea you may like. I have seen someone on forum or on internet, used his old android phone as head unit with aux to OEM. I too interested in that but stuck as I didn't find any Bluetooth dialer app on phone which I want to use as head unit. I used a car dashboard app, this can add shortcut to other app Torque, music app radio etc. Further, you can turn on the phone when it start charging, with no option to turn off with car. Biggest downside I see in this setup is battery, I don't want to leave any battery in car when it's cooking summer heat outside, 45°C.

Hi Aaron, I can suggest, if you're not specifically looking for reputed brand like Sony etc., browse the AliExpress. There you may find many Android 2din units. Here, you need to replace 2 things, main unit and the bezel around. As the current bezel is designed for OEM player. For bezel, you may get same from GM as the lower variant have 2 din space. Otherwise, same is available on AliExpress. I am not Chinese item freak but browse for things which are not available off the shelf or I want for experiment purpose. Hi nightfury, May be you have already tried this. Just putting, if not. As you mentioned no air at all, means possibly blower not getting power, reason to my understanding blower fuse may blown-out. This located inside cabin relay module. Location you can refer on booklet. Other possibility, as deesdetfc mentioned in his post, ac relay or fuse. Ac fuse & relay are located in engine relay module. Fuse can be checked visually and with Multimeter. For relay you can ask someone to turn ac while observing to relay activation click at engine bay.

Hi, Its basically the dotted part are directly soldered on the board of fuse-relay box. Now why, GM can only answer. I can suggest if you have doubt on ac relay, you need one person help. Turn on car, open the hood and the relay box and ask someone to turn ac on. You must be able to hear the click of relay activation. This is my presumption, I never tried this as never encountered this. But yes this is how relay works. Safety point - ensure parking brake applied. Aaron, I have 2010 LS (India) and this have central locking (remote is add-on as geniune GM acc.). It's function is simple that driver door latch have feedback switch embedded which tell ECU/BCM that it is unlocked. Then ECU/BCM send relevant signal to rest 3 doors, which have embedded motor to latch. (P.S. above function is working without remote also. Remote just lock-unlock the driver door latch). All I can say if you have central locking, all remaining door must have motors. Simple way to check, unlock driver door and see if remaining door unlocks. If not, you may need too m

Little off topic!! I always think to add a arm rest when driving 300-400km a day. But one question stopped me. Is these aftermarket add on arm rest affect the reaction time to apply hand brake? Looking at many available options, I feel the arm rest is above the hand brake lever. As the OEM arm rest are on one side and have good space to hand brake. Mine is 2010 LS India.

Thanks Ray. It's 2010, India. As I can visually compare its equivalent to 2013 US. Both are powered by same smartek-ii 1.2L engine, with certain change to US requirements legal & personal. As I understand its by cable only. But will confirm before moving forward. If its cable, I will get it replaced at service centre as its a critical component to my books, better safe than sorry. When you mentioned binding or sticking, It striked me that this happens to my bike's cables too. Some of strands from cable cut loose and start sticking to inner liner.

I experienced a really strange thing. The gas padel stuck for a moment. It happened couple of times in last 4 yrs. I usually ignored, as tapping padel gently resolve it and it very infrequent. But today I had to go little more than a gentle tap. It happens when the padel is totally released (e.g. bumper-to-bumper traffic) & then I press it to start moving. Like Bobby said, you can connect directly to battery with a in-line fuse and a switch. Same you can get from spare location in fuse box. 1st you need to check on box label where it is. 2nd you need to verify that it's powered all time. To check this you best have a multimeter, connect -ve lead to chassis and +ve to spare location terminal. Now, if its 12v without key, you got it, else move to next spare one. Then, use a fuse tap to get power from that spare location. As you just need 200mA, I guess 2amp or 3amp fuse is good. If you don't have a multimeter and have some electro
