Bob, you should know better than to say anything at all against the Spark here.
All opinions are welcome, as long as they aren't negative, or offend the delicate sensibilities of the Spark owners here.

Just to add one small point - talking to a lawyer is fine, but do not under any circumstances actually hire one until ALL of YOUR efforts hit a brick wall.
If you hire a lawyer, no one from Chevy or GM will talk to you any longer concerning your car.
If the lawyer then does his research into your problem and decides that the case is either unwinnable or too iffy to fight and drops it, you are SOL.
They will tell you that since you hired a lawyer (even though s/he no longer represents you) they can't talk to you and to hire another.
Needless to say, if one lawyer dumps your case it will be extremely hard (if not impossible) to find another that will take it on without paying them upfront.

I spoke to a local car detailer yesterday that will make custom stripes (bumper to bumper not just hood & roof), and install them for $300.
Once I see if the A/C issue works out, I may have it done.

The honk is easily disabled through the MyLink setup.

Be aware that if you hire a lawyer, no one from GM - including the reps here will speak to you again.
Even if you drop the lawyer, they will no longer speak to you because you hired one in the first place.
So use a lawyer as a last resort.

Try contacting the GM reps here on the board, they can be helpful to some.
If you get no satisfaction from them, contact GM directly - the number is in the owner's manual.
Be prepared for a whole lotta BS, but don't take no for an answer. Always ask for the rep's supervisor if not satisfied.
Keep escalating your claim through everyone you can get to in customer service.
If all else fails, use your states lemon law, but do NOT go through the better Business Bureau.

First I'm sorry to hear you're going through this, however I had my own issues with GM so I'm not surprised.
If you have a warranty with a 3rd party company, I would make a claim with them if the dealership is playing games.
Be aware that GM will discount your father's experience by saying how their "technicians" are factory trained and have this certification and that certification, while your father wasn't and doesn't.
I know this because that is what they did to me.
Talk to the reps on the board, and if they can't help you out, call the GM hotline in the owner's manual.
Demand that they bring in a factory trained "specialist" to look at the car, and go from there.
Just remember that you should never take no for an answer - always push for a higher up.
If all else fails, contact your state's attorney general's office - do NOT let them push you into a better business bureau hearing.

Sorry took so long to answer - the motherboard in my computer decided it was time to short out!
So now I have a new computer and a used (48,000 mile) Toyota Prius.
Even though there is a big difference in the Spark and the Prius, believe it or not, I do sorta, kinda miss the Spark.

It is with a heavy heart (who am I kidding, we all saw this coming) that I announce the passing on of Gossamer.
After a little more than 3 years, I am finally rid of a car that I really had little enjoyment in owning.
Honestly, I could have loved the little $hitbox if it weren't for all the problems I had with it.
The first 7 months were pretty much trouble free, and then things started to fall apart rapidly.
I won't get into rehashing all of the problems I had with the car, the dealership, Chevy, GM, and even the Better Business Bureau, but it was well beyond time to find an alternate means of 4 wheeled transportation.
I was holding out on the hope that the new redesigned 2016 Spark would be a worthy replacement, but while I was waiting for the 2016 Spark to finally make it's appearance, I came across a deal I just couldn't pass up, so I had to let Gossamer go.
Even though I no longer own a Spark, I will continue to hang around the forum (if that's okay) to see what goes on with the 2016 Spark, as I still have not ruled out getting one.
Who knows? There may be a Gossamer II in the not so distant future!

Did you replace it with a double or single filament bulb? You need a double filament bulb.
When you click the remote, the parking lights flash, not the signal lights, and since you have a 2013, the lights that come on automatically are the DRLs (auto headlights didn't start until the 2014 model).
Easy test - take the bulb from the working side and see if it works in the nonworking side.
If it works, it's the bulb.
If it doesn't, you know you have a bigger problem.
