I find the higher end of the audio spectrum fills out fine (car has the 6 speaker option), but I find the low end terrible. I just added an underseat subwoofer from a subaru and tied it into the stock harness to fill out the low end better.

Are you talking about using the stock tires in a racing scenario or daily driving?

On mine it isn't connected to anything and the usb port on my console works fine.

It has the mini-usb port on the back. I've circled it in the attached photo. I'm going to see if I could locate a chord and see what happens when I try plugging something back there.

Don't think it uses a SIM card. I believe the unit is under the passenger's seat in the vehicle. There is probably an IMEI # that can be used to activate it onto a Rogers plan. I have yet to take it out and take a look at the unit physically.

So, is it possible then to add an additional usb port? If so, I wonder if there is a part number for the additional usb port piece needed to utilize it...

Any modifications to the intake system? Standard or automatic?

Mirrorlink is only available with Android handsets, unfortunately. I have apple music installed on my HTC m8...sorry for the confusion.

The floorboards do make a huge difference in noise reduction. Another spot to do would be the inside of the doors, although, I don't find them to be that bad.

Wow. I'm assuming you would have to swap the pistons out for lower compression pistons, correct? With a 10.5:1 compression in stock form, you would probably want to play it safe and swap those out. I'd love to do a supercharged spark. I had a supercharged subaru and it was a riot to drive.

I'd love to see what numbers it puts up with a tune and some mods. From what I understand, it's not so much the power that has big gains, but the throttle response is a zillion times better.

Very nice job! Did you use a roller at all to get it nice and stuck on the flooring? I used the thermal stuff for duct work that you can get at home depot. The smell is terrible for the first couple days, but does the same thing as what you got.

I don't think you need to change the CVT fluid. But, I guess it wouldn't harm it unless you totally use the wrong fluid. I was thinking of adding a transmission cooler since she gets tracked on the weekends and I tow my small trailer during the week. CVT's don't like heat, so I want to keep it as cool as possible.

Would you be willing to ship to North Dakota? Very interested in the floor mats.

I managed to hack mine. I got the mirrorlink going, video in motion going and all the steering wheel controls work fine. The radio is slow and choppy when it comes to controls so don't even try scrolling via the radio. Lol. Video is terrible when streaming from my phone. Nothing really to brag about except being able to use Google Maps from my phone and use apple music on the stereo. I still have the files on a USB stick if anyone wants them.

I've looked around on some KDM performance parts sites and there doesn't seem to be a hood that has any scoops or vents installed on there. I've only been able to find carbon fibre hoods.

I think you would have to go with a totally custom option for a functional hood scoop for this vehicle. Any particular reason you want to go with one?

Love how the new Sparks look. Congrats on the purchase! Sounds like you have a fun car to drive, for sure. I'm usually not a big fan of chrome, but it is tastefully done on this car.

In Canada, I believe the standard size is 15" as well.

Do you mean to get it going at times? Sometimes I do have to stomp on the gas in order to match speeds to merge when coming off a yield. It's an underpowered engine, so there isn't much power there to tap into. Especially with the air conditioning on. Lol. I turn it off when I have to get fast quick.

I love my 2015. I run a lawncare company and tow my lightweight trailer with my mower and riding mower on there. It gets the job done fine and I'm saving money on gas compared to all the other guys running pick-ups. On the weekends, I take it to the track and she is a fun little car to whip around...reminds me a lot of my old miata on the track. So far, I haven't had any issues with the CVT transmission other than the way it's programmed. Wish there was someone out there that tuned them to run the way I'd like it to.

I know that there is a mini-usb port on the back of the infotainment unit itself. Someone posted a photo of it on a different thread here.

My radio does the same thing, except I haven't done the recall yet. My iphone connects fine, speech recognition works perfectly. My android connects fine, but it says that it doesn't support speech recognition. Maybe you have to install an app similair to Siri?

I am currently on FW 24.1 and wanted to know what FW 24.5 would bring to the unit should I update to it. I can't seem to find a site that has a log of what updates the FW brings when updating to it.

The headlights look like they were retrofitted with HID projectors. That must be a big projector in those headlights.
