BRAVO241 2
I own a gas guzzling Dakota 4X4 pickup/16mpg. I live a 1/2 hour from work/26 miles. I estimate I could save roughly $185 a month on fuel!! I live in the snow belt of Western NY, on hilly roads too. Any input??
mrp10000 3
For Me my decision was based on the small car. I like the small car feel and the spark gave me the car I wanted. If gas is your only issue, then by all means, get the spark. If you like the feel of a larger vehicle, then take some time to think about it. BRAVO241
elroyjetsn 16
We had a Cherokee and then an Outback and both were constant problems. We love our Sparks. It's very different driving experience, though. If you use bad roads the shocks will bang a lot cause the shocks rest near max extension with one on board. Normal driving, you don't notice except for the occasional deep pothole or going too fast over RR tracks. The steering is QUICK and takes the most getting used to. If I were you, go take an extended test drive. I'm used to being a little more intimate with traffic after commuting on a dirtbike for 3 years so the adjustment was easy for me BRAVO241

Mudflap 1
I've heard people suggest that if you're thinking of buying to rent one for a couple of days before making a decision.
Greg_E 211
At $10 a day from Enterprise it would be silly not to rent one for a weekend. I looked around before I bought mine, but no one had them anywhere near me. BRAVO241

Trancer07 30
I'd love to rent a manual transmission version. Unfortunately in america, manual transmission rental cars are to much of a liability... or something. Edited March 16, 2013 by Trancer07
bluer101 241
I needed transportation to and from work as cheap as possible. Went and looked at the Spark and ended up buying it. We love the gas savings and the fun all in town. Plus it gives me another vehicle to mod.
