  1. Well, it's goodbye for my Spark. I liked it while I had it, and I drove it proudly for 48000 miles. I traded it for a Chevy Volt. I've always liked small cars, but II also like tech type stuff and I've been eyeing a Volt for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. I'll miss my Spark, and the forum....
  2. Just crossed the 40 K mileage mark today. Got my 2013 Spark in October of 2012, and it's still the car for me! It is the perfect small car. Hope to keep going until I hit 100K!
  3. It's been a couple of months, but always asked about price and whether or not it is electric...I'm always happy to oblige
  4. I myself am at 25500 miles and have had my Spark 2 years. My mileage comes in spurts, with a couple of thousand in one month, followed by a couple of months of limited driving. Still no complaints...
  5. Love that someone has 95000. I want to keep mine as long as possible. Love the look, drive, feel, and now that I have put some sound deadener (FatMat) in the car, a more quiet ride.
  6. Love mine, but always look to improve what I've got. Read on the forum about Dynamat, and installed some FatMat for noise...Seems to have helped after I put in in the rear of the car, and put some cheaper stuff in the front. I'm no handy man, but I think these products have helped (my install was not exactly by the book.) Of course, I really didn't think I had a problem with road noise until someone mentioned it LOL. At any rate, wonderful car with all the features I like: Unique design--I've driven for two years now and still get questions about the car Air (drove a 1990 Ford Festiva
  7. I ordered Fat Mat from Amazon after reading this post. I put it in the rear spare tire area and underneath the back seat. I'm gonna drive it awhile and see how much of a difference it makes. If it works well, I may put some on front floorboards and doors. The noise is really the only complaint I have on the Spark...
  8. Bump lol...Gonna take on a trip from NC to Biloxi soon, and once I'm visiting Biloxi and New Orleans will really appreciate the small size of the car more than I already do...I still get questions and compliments about it even though more and more are on the road. Outside of the small ding on the windshield from a pebble on a road trip (not my fault...and fixed as best I could from kit purchased at Auto Zone), still puttering along.... I would buy one again in a heartbeat, but can't let this one go!!!
  9. My two year anniversary with my new Spark is almost here, and I was wondering...How happy are you with your Spark after the honeymoon period? As for me and my Spark, I still enjoy everything it has to offer: small size, easy to maneuver in tight spaces, gas mileage, the bells and whistles that came with my 1LT, the unique look of the car, and the list could go on... For me, the benefits outweigh the negatives...What do you say Spark owners? I know that I've had a few new vehicles, and once the "new" wore off, I was ready to go on the next thing...Not this time. Still loving my Spark!
  10. Grrrrrrrr.....Stupid internet! The page wouldn't load and when I finally got it to load, it had done so 4 times! My apologies folks... :(
  11. Well, just went over the 22000 mile mark and had the air conditioning fixed. I didn't think I had a problem, but it cools faster. I had a 1990 Ford Festiva with absolutely no extras, and when I sold it in 1997 it had 99,500 miles on it. My Spark is head over heals better than that car, and as of right now I don't see why I couldn't drive it for the next 10 years. I'm also seeing more of them on the road...They are fun to drive, and you cannot beat the price point.
  12. Does anyone out there have a lot of miles on your Spark. I was on pace to have about 30000 miles on my Spark by now, but my driving habits have changed and I only have about 20000 after 20 months. I'm curious as to anyone who has a significant amount of miles on their car. I've had mine almost two years and the only thing I am needing to have done is have the dealer check the air conditioning per the letter send out by GM... I figured by now that there is somebody out there who is a road warrior...How many miles??? What type of driving conditions (hills, mountains, flat areas, hot vs. cold
  13. For Me my decision was based on the small car. I like the small car feel and the spark gave me the car I wanted. If gas is your only issue, then by all means, get the spark. If you like the feel of a larger vehicle, then take some time to think about it.
  14. Recently I filled up and drove my Spark about 80-90 miles. According to the onboard computer display, I had managed to achieve a whopping 45.3 mpg during that part of my trip. I was driving from Charlotte to Myrtle Beach, dropping elevation of course, and filled up with gas across the SC line where gas is much cheaper. At any rate, I was curious as to what the best mpg others may have gotten during their driving experiences. By the way, on the return trip, only 38.5, but still better than the 37 listed. Of course, my former Corolla would have gotten the same amount of mpg, but the Spark
  15. Oh, while I really wanted a red Spark, I really liked the car when I drove it. Plenty of power for where I drive, and fun too!!!
