Schaltz 27
Of course not - it's two completly different types of cars.
Skids 108
The Trax is basically a slightly larger Sonic hatch back with available all wheel drive. Interior and engine are the same. much lager than the spark and I'm sure much lower mpg.
TonySpark 5
I don't think my situation is too unique. I had purchased my 2014 Spark in August to get into a smaller gas consuming vehicle after trading in my 6 year old F-150. I liked the little Spark styling and with the LS I actually enjoyed shifting gears again after many years of automatic vehicles. Unfortunately I found my family and I would park the new Spark and drive a 6 year old Ford Escape on family road trips. The Spark just did not have enough storage for out of town luggage. We traded both the Escape and my Spark on a 2015 Chevrolet Trax. It is loaded with all the options except for the AWD which we live in North Texas and I don't see us using that type of feature enough to justify the additional expense. We saved money over the two car payments/insurance and now have one new vehicle that will serve us well for around town and on the highway. It has really nice styling on the interior and we have been getting great compliments on the vehicle. Good bye Spark, it was fun. Cheers, -Tony
WaltK 305
Lots of luck with the new Trax ! TonySpark
Angrybird12 61
I was thinking of trading our 2008 Saturn Vue for a Trax. The Vue sucks at MPG. About 15 in town and only 21 on the highway. TonySpark
TonySpark 5
I can tell you that in the real world... city I'm getting 25 mpg and highway I'm getting 33 mpg. I really like the taller seating and all the options on my Trax.
Angrybird12 61
I am really interested in hearing more about your experiences with the Trax. How is the ride and cargo space. I have read some of the initial reviews and they seem pretty good.
