Miraj Choksi 16
the longer ones go on the front so just check or else go to a professional
psquare75 35
Yeah fixed. Whoops. Easy to blow it if they aren't labeled, as they both interchange. All set! jbudgets

tommyspark 24
Whenever installing springs, the longer springs always go up front to compensate for the weight of the engine. Looks good Psquare! How long was the install?
Tyler Griffin 0
hi, i am in need of some help ! my top strut mount on my driver side tightened perfectly after installing the spring , but my passenger side wont tighten the middle of it just spins with the nut , what can i do ? or do i have to buy "pass thru sockets" just confused because one was perfect and the other wasnt also the rears went in very easy !!!
psquare75 35
Use a wrench on the nut and a torx bit / hex key inside the stud of the strut to keep it from spinning.
Jon Carmichael 0
Yeah fixed. Whoops. Easy to blow it if they aren't labeled, as they both interchange. All set! how does this effect getting wheels? Like is there much space to not have the tires rub if you were to get bigger wheels?
NOMAD 1
Have you noticed any gas mileage increase since lowering? I ask because I seem to get better mileage with more weight in the car, which in effect also lowers the car. Aero trumps weight in most cases. Thanks. Romeo62185
psquare75 35
I lowered mine when the car had less than 1000 miles on it, so I don't really have a good baseline. dulsaf2630

I did not, but much like psquare75 I had very few miles on my car when I lowered it, changed the wheels, and did the intake mod all in a two week period. I rarely see the freeway and average about 32.2/32.4 or so MPG, Keep in mind that I drive this little car pretty hard for what it is...
psquare75 35
32? Damn. I 'pushed it hard' once and I got 35.. gf usually gets 42 on her work commute/ highway - city and I get 45-46 backroads to work..
tommyspark 24
I've lowered every car I've had (4) prior to the Spark and it never increased MPGs. If you don't align your car after you lower it, that will actually hurt your MPGs
Blake Thomas 0
Ok I installed bg springs on my car and I feel like a bobble head is this normal
jbudgets 3
Ok I installed bg springs on my car and I feel like a bobble head is this normal Its not the best riding car to start with. The springs dont help either. Give it 2k and they seem to soften up a little bit. I cut my bump stops in half when i did my install, I wouldnt recommend doing this, and the shorter throw actually needs that little extra push on big bumps. dulsaf2630
psquare75 35
Keep your head a bit off the headrests, it helps quite a bit.

Romeo62185 10
I bought them.... How hard are they to remove and install?
dulsaf2630 9
Removing the front inside the hood is hard, narrow space and you need 24mm wrench.
Romeo62185 10
Just curious how long this will take and where is what. Didn't find any tutorials online yet.
psquare75 35
You won't, either. Rears take about 20 minutes, fronts were around an hour each side.
