  1. Its not the best riding car to start with. The springs dont help either. Give it 2k and they seem to soften up a little bit. I cut my bump stops in half when i did my install, I wouldnt recommend doing this, and the shorter throw actually needs that little extra push on big bumps.
  2. I did not, but much like psquare75 I had very few miles on my car when I lowered it, changed the wheels, and did the intake mod all in a two week period. I rarely see the freeway and average about 32.2/32.4 or so MPG, Keep in mind that I drive this little car pretty hard for what it is...
  3. In the past I was a brand junkie and used the high dollar stuff, I honestly can not tell the difference with the budget branded stuffs. I have had good luck with Fat Mat before and there are usually pretty good deals on Amazon and Ebay for it. If nothing else I would suggest getting 10-15 squar feet and wrapping the back gate and the spare tire area. That alone has made a hug difference and you should be out less tha 40 bucks! I think last time I got it from amazon I got 20sf for 38 and change shipped. This time I got just over 100 square feet for a buck a foot.
  4. WOW, I thought I saw these photos on a google search before, but couldnt find them again. This guy is serious! I sent him a pm, thanks for the link Lovgun7!
  5. The more I drive my spark (8000+ miles now) the more the road noise really has started to bug me. I was planning on wrapping a few area's when doing my sub install but found a killer deal on a huge bulk pack of Fat Mat from a local shop that was going out of business, so I have decited to just wrap the whole car and see how quite I can get it. I started with the hatch door this weekend, and do to the odd shapes and small trim panel I was only able to stuff maybe 2 square feet in the inside of it. The trunk area floor on the other habnd opened up nicely, large flat areas that really take the so
  6. I dig this setup, although I am completely lost and confused by most of it... Just another sign Im getting old and unwilling to change! What ever happened to big amps and neon lights, mini trucks and 6x9's with huge boxes and panel rattles you could hear blocks away hahaha, its getting harder and harder to put bass where it belongs in these new cars, although your set up looks fantastic!!!
  7. Didn't mean to high jack your tint thread tommyspark, but the sub looks good lungun7!!!
  8. You guys have any photos you could post of this sitting in the back of the spark? I was looking at this and the MTX powered tube as well becuase they have the speaker wire leads that turn it on and off. Not a fan of the neon lights but I suppose I could take those out? Ive never had such a small sub set up in a car, but then again Ive never had such a small car hahaha.. I have all four corners replaces with kicker speakers now (not impressed), and the stereo is in sad shape, desperatly looking into this. Please post a pic if you got one! Thanks.
  9. These are coilovers... Im looking for a good set of struts, like a good ol' set of koni's or anything a bit more aggressive of shorter than stock.
  10. Did you ever make any of these??? Im interested in one, and a diffuser too! PM me please if you would be available to fab one of these up for me. Thanks!
  11. Nissan? Why would you say such things hahaha...
  12. Struts, not coilovers.... No one makes struts yet (that Ive seen). Ive had a few sets of megans on my Z cars and will not readily run another set of the.....
  13. Finished up my bowties this weekend to match my roof. Pretty happy with how these came out.
  14. It wouldn't be the first time someone thought it was an electric car,I guess this makes even more sense now haha! Im not sure where they get it from, they do this and tint and other stuff for a living. I will tell you from the experience I have with this kind of stuff you actually do get what you pay for, I'd stay away from the super cheap ebay stuff. Find a local shop and spend your money where they offer a warranty. Doing little stuff is not that hard, but doing a roof or a fender takes some skill...
