I took my car in for an oil change yesterday. The service advisor said Ill need to bring my car back in a few days for the AC Service Bulletin. Sounds like its a near all day process so they're getting me a rental car.

I went from a 2001 Kia Rio with 162k miles (had 30k when i got it in 2003) to the Spark. The Kia probably lasted 60k more miles than it should have, my buddy used to work at the Kia dealership and was surprised my car was still running but I also maintained the car unlike a lot of people. It got to the money where it was going to need a lot more work and I rather plunk money into a new ride. I got 10k miles on my spark already and I got it towards the end of January. So far Im glad I got the car we'll see how i feel in 5 years.

Remote Start installed!
thecrowtv replied to thecrowtv's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Locks & Remote Start
upgraded the remote and antenna to the RF-1WG5-SS kit which is the one mile radius kit. Granted in the real world its not happening because thats line of sight. But it does improve the range quite a bit and i got it on ebay for $50. -
Has anyone installed a trunk release for the Spark yet?

this evening i tried accessing the light is under the A/C and Heat panel the one that shines near the cupholders and the usb port. It looks like lights on a circuit board type deal. I gotta figure out how to replace that light with a red one. -

Greg-E the front flaps I got from Korea are a factory fit, they use the same screws that are already there.
-
Whats the service number?
-
Well installed the front flaps on my 1LT with no problem, factory fit. THen again its a GM korea part. Rear Flaps i gotta head to my buddies house and use his jack. You have to drill 4 small holes to install the rear flaps so i have to remove the rear tires.

Great job on the install, I love how you mounted it.
