  1. who did those graphics for you?
  2. Hey all, I needed some more bass in my Spark and this is what I'm trying out. Kicker L7 Dual 2 Ohm 8" speaker Kicker IX500.2 amplifier Box made to fit the spare tire cavity. Normally I would have gone with a mono amp and a dual 4 ohm subwoofer but I had the amp left over from a previous build. Just getting started: more to come as the project progresses
  3. I would love a believer of the premium gas myth to provide some sort of emissions or dyno graph to prove you get more power and economy from 93 vs 87. Also a procedure in how they did the testing. I work in a vehicle lab where we test these kind of things.
  4. Alright we have a car guy on here who understands how systems work and doesn't have a butt dyno. It would be interesting to see an actual dyno run with a stock air intake vs a aftermarket intake and with other performance mods. I love reading forums where users start bolting on stuff and it does nothing for them.
  5. Directed Electronics with the DBALL can accomplish this. Best Buy would be a good place to go. Should cost around $200 dollars and I think it's about 6 wires they need to hook up.
  6. thank you...i thought there was LS ground effects LT1 ground effects and LT2 ground effects. Thanks for the help. My spark will is going to be my stand up jetski hauler real soon!
  7. are you putting in a radio? because this vehicle has a CAN system and you should use the wiring harness with a kit. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120993309B/Metra-99-3309B-Dash-and-Wiring-Kit-Flat-Black.html
  8. no cutting and you have the lower body kit that surrounds the exhaust like my picture in the first post?
  9. Does anyone know fitment for a Spark 2LT with the exhaust shroud rear ground effects? this is my car and I haven't seen any 2LT's with hitches which means I'll probably have to cut the rear.
  10. @bluer101 did your front factory speakers have pods that enclosed them on the bottom?
  11. How does the voltage thing work and the JET performance chip?
  12. Sorry late to the game here. I am a mobile electronics certified professional (MECP) and have installed remote start systems in a few Sparks. They are a very simple car. I am not sure Chevrolet can put one on through the stock key fob. I would recommend going to best buy and exploring your options. I like all the Compustar systems and that is what i usually recommend. It is possible to use your factory fob with the aftermarket remote starts activation input but the range would be terrible. These cars are rather easy to do and i wouldn't worry about messing up any of your car functions.
  13. Putting a remote start in a Chevy Spark is pretty easy. It's literally connecting about 11 wires all at the BCM. The problem is programming the bypass which can only be doing by an authorized dealer. (luckily i have access to that)
  14. Hi, Just bought a Chevy Spark and I'm 31 and just bought a used Spark 2LT auto with 6k on it. I already ordered some weather tech floor mats, new speakers, and I'll be installing a subwoofer in the spare tire area. Also I work part time at a car audio shop and I'll be putting a remote start in it. Cheers everyone.
