Oil status display

The oil monitor uses a mathematical algorithm to calculate oil life remaining ... which may include factors such as time since last change, miles driven, rpms hit/driving style, detected "cloudiness" of the oil, etc. So, even letting a car sit for an extended period of time can cause the oil life number to go down (it may be taking into account expected condensation in unused oil, for example) -

That's crazy ... I have a car with an even smaller engine ('14 Mitsubishi Mirage 3-cyl) and the A/C's the coldest of any car I've owned, and stays ice cold during idle. -
I love my Mirage ... handles great and feels solid to me.

Here's a place which maintains a list of TSBs for the Spark: http://www.alldatadiy.com/TSB/10/141066kQ.html A few TSBs contents I found: Body - Hem Flange Sealer for Corrosion Protection Information on Engine Oil Consumption Guidelines
