ChevyBeat 28
Good to see a LiPo battery in car. All I am assuming, this must have internal charge controller as Lithium batteries (both LiPo and Lithium polymer flat type) are more delicate than lead acid ones and more prone to ambient temperature fluctuations. It has bcm ( Battery Control Management ) inside on its own circuit board. This battery charges just like a normal car battery. It was $140 total for the battery and M6 Brass terminal kit. The frame and Velcro tie downs cost me another $10.

Bruce Marks 2
This idea works well in climates above 30° F. If you live in the North of the US, you will need a jumpstart or configure a battery warmer due to the bms system. The battery will not start the car when it's 10-15° outside.
