Greg_E 211
I was looking at speakers that I could pick up locally, and noticed on Best buy there is a review of the Clarion G series 4x6 from a Spark owner. I was thinking get all the same series for front and back, and the Clarions might be a good choice, be he comments on the possibility that the stock head unit can't drive them properly, so I though I better check here before shelling out cash. tommyspark 24
Numerous people on here have said the stock head unit pushes their speakers fine. I've seen Kicker, Polk, and Pioneer on here so far. I'm sure you will be fine with the Clarions.
Greg_E 211
I'm still thinking about 4 inch round everywhere and using an adapter plate in the rear. Many of the Infinity are designed with round main driver an a tweeter to fill in the 4x6 plate.
tommyspark 24
Wouldn't 4*6s have better midrange?
Greg_E 211
Maybe. But I spent some time measuring the speakers and now I'm extremely confused, nothing seems to fit where the holes actually line up in the front.
tommyspark 24
The Pioneers I put in lined up almost perfectly up front. The back ones; now that's a different story....
