Jason Fitzgerald 0
I just purchased a 2013 spark 2lt and have noticed that the car doesn't honk when locking the doors. I have gone into the mylink and selected lights and honk but still nothing. just lights blink no honk. When i hold the panic button on the remote the alarm goes off. also i did the test with leave drivers side window down and lock car and then i pulled the lock knob up and opened the doors and nothing. The red light on the dash blinks. but no alarm. I may have not waited long enough for the alarm to engage. i'll try it again.

bluer101 241
Yes twice to honk. But it's nice to be silent if you have to.
Mr.tozzi 66
Twice to hink, but it's really not necessary, the alarml will arm by itself after you lock, according to the manual.

This is correct. Pressing the lock button once will arm the alarm.
