thismarks 65
So, after 70k I'm starting to get a rattle out of my transmission. It sounds like it's an input shaft bearing starting to go. Clutch still feels good as well as the transmission shifting nice and smooth. Noise only happens at idle with the car in neutral. As soon as I depress the clutch pedal, the noise stops. Sounds like a chain rattle. Looks like I may be replacing the clutch and the bearing at the same time....really a let down as this is only at 70k and I don't think installing a turbo on the car without doing these things first would be wise. Bruce Marks 2
Just wanted to follow up since it has been a while. Transmission had to be replaced at just 64k. The fluid started leaking out a couple weeks after this post. I located a 2018 Chevy spark manual transmission and had it installed with a new clutch and flywheel.
