  1. has anyone had any success with any front turn light LED conversions? switchback or not! I just tried a set of LED switchback lights and load converters with no success! turns out it has something to do with the cars "body control module" and how the blink is controlled not from the bulb itself but from the module. I have a 2013 1LT any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  2. Does anybody know what circut (fuse) the consol light above the USB port uses? I need to tap into that lights circut for under dash lights. Reason I need that circut is I need the lights that I am installing to only come on when that light is on, and the fact that it dims as well! Any help would be great Cheers Jason
  3. nice, thanks guys.... I have a 48 xenon dome light, blue cargo light, and blue plate lights and under dash accent strips all leds coming soon. Plus I ordre 3 "Add-A-Circuit" fuse lines to properly install all my accent light and remote line for the amp! pics to follow.
  4. I realize it can only read up to 2500 tracks... but with todays tech, it's the stupidest thing I've encountered yet. You would figure if an after market deck could do it why the MyLink system doesn't? not cool
  5. anyone have any problems with OBC error codes replacing light in their Spark? or any other lights or that matter?
  6. i know my iPod has way more than 2500 songs. what does this mean if it only reads 2500 tracks? does it mean I can't play all that is available on my iPod or does it mean that the highest song count it can display is 2500 and the rest are still playable?
  7. anybody know if warranties void if one of these are installed?
  8. thanks, if your looking for a good pair of cones for the front for optimal sound check out the Infinity Reference series! I'm putting a pair in the front myself. http://us.infinitysystems.com/infinity-/brand_infinity/car_audio/infinity-mobile-series/reference-series-.html%C2'>

speaker mount test installed in rear hatch compartment very clean sounding rich mids with tight highs. Was a very snug fit but I now have two 220watt 6 1/2" Pioneer TS-A1672R three way speakers mounted in the back. Now for the front speakers and the 1000watt 12" sub install.

3 pieces of 5/8" MDF laminated together with a 1/4" MDF ring for the speaker to mount on to accommodate proper drive hight!
  15. no amp yet, the amp will be powering the 12" sub when it is installed. the front and rear speakers will be powered from the MyLink system which can handle up to 50watts rms per side!! glad I've given you some good ideas!
  16. So after going through numerous posts to see what people are doing to replace the rear speakers in their Sparks, I decided to think out side the box!! I currently own a black 2013 Chevy Spark 1LT 5spd manual. I just recently sold my 98 GMC Sierra 4x4 and stripped all the speakers I installed. I then began to brainstorm to see how I could fit the two 6 1/2" 220watt Pioneer door speakers. It took me about a week to come up with "step up" mounts that would make it possible to install the 6 1/2" speakers. they are made out of three layers of 5/3" MDF and one layer of 1/4" MDF. They fit perfec
  17. I found where you fed the power line through the firewall. Unfortunately in my 2013 1LT 5 spd manual there is something feeding through that access point already :( I have to find an alternate way!
  18. thanks bluer: is the metal plate at the firewall? and did you have to drill a hole in it? I'm installing a single 12" 1000watt JBL GT120 Competition Series sub in the wheel well. I've done a ton of research, and even got in touch with JBL's 12volt department and got the full specs on the sub. I was so happy when I found out that I have just enough space in the wheel well to put a minimum sealed box that will hold the sub! the install will be done over the winter, weather permitting of course, and because I'm dealing with a fresh new car it's going to be a super clean install, frarad cap, ligh
  19. hey there people. I'm installing an amp and need to know the best method to run a main amp power line from the engine bay to inside the car. Any ideas would be great thanks cheers Jason

  21. Has anyone had any success with injen's SP7080P cold air intake with the 2013 1LT? or stories for that matter? any feed back would be great, thanks Jason
  22. Can anyone tell me what the max out put is for the MyLink system in my 2013 1LT? I know that there is no pre-amp option so I'm going to have to use a line output converter to hook up a sub. But I was wondering what the out put was on the system it self!
