Parmela 0
I've picked out a Caribbean Blue 1LT Spark...... and am scheduled to pick it up Saturday. I think its as cute as can be, but have some concerns. Most of my driving in this car will be a 20 mile trip back and forth down I-75 to visit my grandchildren. How does this car really perform on the interstate? I haven't signed anything yet, so there is still a chance to back out if needed. Edited June 4, 2020 by Parmela
adamcars 0
It is perfectly fine for interstate driving. Just do not think it will accelerate like a racecar and you will be fine. Are there steep grades where you live? That would be the only potential drawback as the Spark does not have extra power to burn, especially with the CVT automatic.
Parmela 0
Pulled the trigger and went through with the purchase. Absolutely no problem driving on the interstate! I'm not a speed demon, so it accelerated just fine and I was more than able to keep up with the traffic around me. Feels much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Did notice it struggles up hills. There is one stretch between my house and my son's that is pretty steep...... Haven't tried it yet.
