Trunk won't open on 2013 Chevy Equinox

I am the original owner of a 2013 Chevy Equinox. My trunk will NOT open when I use both of my car remotes!!  There is NO SWITCH on the inside of the car.  I have been to two different places including the dealer with no luck!  The dealer told me they needed more time to work on it (after waiting 4 hours last Friday). The guy said because of the holiday weekend he would call me back on Tuesday. I never heard back from him and tried calling but he didn't return my calls. The back part (latch) has already been replaced but it still does not open. This is so frustrating!
