Problem with mylink/car audio

Last night when running errands I pulled into a parking lot and everything was fine and working correctly. I turn the car off, went into the store, came back 20 minutes later, started the car and everything works and lights up fine, except for mylink.

 

The screen is black and unresponsive, the turn signal light works, but makes no clicking noise, and the onstar button starts off blinking green and then solid green, then blinks red and goes solid red.

 

I already tried turning it off, openkng the door and leaving it for a few minutes, but that didn't work. What else can I do?

How old is your battery. I have seen and also experienced really weird things electrical wise when the battery starts to go. Seems like modern cars are very sensitive to this. I am not saying thats your problem just something to consider and possible check if its very old.

It's just over a year old. The strangest thing happened, the problem fixed itself. After two nights the car snapped back to normal somehow and regained it's functionality.
