Sara Ladd 2
I was on a budget when I got my spark so it's the base model. Now two years later I want to do some modifications, starting with installing steering wheel controls. Does anyone know if the wheel is pre-wired or if I would need to buy an entirely new steering wheel?
edgehead2000 0
I have the same questions. From what I can see is that we may have to take the car in for reprogramming in the least, that'll run about $200 I think; I had a 2010 camaro and wanted to update some of the electronics but was hesitant due to that price. Without looking at the upper end models' steering wheel I don't know how the new controls would mount and where the cables would route.
Retired old Gearhead 201
I believe it involves a new steering wheel with the controls factory mounted, some rewiring and of course reprogramming. This could be fairly costly. Not a DIY project.
