I haven't seen a Spark with that configuration but looking at a 2015 Spark owner manual it does indicate that remote keyless entry (RKE) is optional. Also you only get door lock/unlock switches on front doors with that option. For vehicle without RKE it shows a switch on instrument panel below the driver side vent which does lock/unlock of the liftgate. That switch ISN'T present when you have the door lock/unlock switches.
