Will the plug for the electric mirror also be located behind there?

Hi I have a 61 plate spark Unfortunately some prat smashed off my drivers side mirror the other night, I have got the replacement mirror, I was just wondering how to go about changing it? I imagine I'll have to remove the door card to gain access to the bolts and the electric plug?? How do I go about this? Thanks for your help in advance
