jhli 0
Have less than 400 miles on the car pulled into the drive after a 20 mile hike and smoke just started pouring out of the hood. Opened the hood and after about 5 minutes it stopped. So when it cooled a bit. Smelled like oil. Called dealer but they were closed. Any thoughts?
WaltK 305
Obviously, that shouldn't happen, don't even think about it, just get it back to the dealer.

jhli 0
Just dropped it off. I think it might be the flux capacitor.
jhli 0
Got a call back. It is either the valve cover or the seal.
jhli 0
Well my valve cover is leaking once again. Not smoking yet.
Retired old Gearhead 201
Very little pressure inside the valve cover..take it back as the seal was not seated or the bolts were not torqued to specs or out of order torquing...Check for oil overfill..K?
