Fedupwithspark 0
I bought a Spark for my daughter a year an a half ago. She doesn’t drive much and has put on about 5,000km. The car worked fine until last fall when it started draining the battery every couple of weeks. I’ve changed the battery and had it in to Roy Nichols GM. The mechanics say there is nothing wrong with it except it doesn’t get driven enough, so the battery drains. That is a bunch of bull. She drove it regularly the last 10 days. We had a snowstorm that meant she missed a day, and after two days it wouldn’t start. Completely dead! It is under warranty but I honestly don’t trust GM to find the issue. We have tried everything on every forum out there. Something is shorting or draining the battery. If an essentially brand new car won’t go more than two days without draining the battery then GM is junk. I caved this time because she liked the look. No more GMs for me. if anyone else has had this issue, I would love to know if and how it was resolved.
attaloss 0
Check out lemon laws in your state. 95% of "techs" are simply parts replaced not mechanics.
