The touchscreen on my Chevy spark is not working

Hello. I’m a newbie and I’m buying a car Tuesday and it is a Chevy spark. During the test drive I decided to try and connect my phone using the mylink stuff that Chevy has. And lo and behold the touchscreen part itself isn’t working. Trying touching the entire screen. Nothing but I can change the radio station on the wheel and still control the AC and everything cuz those aren’t touch screens. I just wanted to know if y’all have had this issue before…
