TheMission 8
I took a first shot at wrapping with vinyl and it didn't turn out too shabby. If you look close you can see imperfections, but all in all, I'm pleased with my amature attempt. I'm going to do the top, mirrors, emblem, and the hatch as well! bluer101 241
Wow that looks pretty good.
Riverspark 28
I like that, can't wait to see your Spark once you do the emblem (I ordered my vinyl sheets to do this, can't wait), roof, mirrors and back hatch :D Chevygurlroq
TheMission 8
I got a mirror done today, plus my gas cap and super sticker - I like it a lot. The mirror cover should have been matte. Bad news for the emblem. I wanted to debadge the back or run the Holden Emblem, but it's not going to happen. IF you look closely in the pick, the paint has a small lift in it where the emblem was and it shows through the vinyl. Anything but the original logo would look weird. jgranger1976
Widget 36
I really dont like the black/wrapped style hood. It looks like you have had to change it and not bothered painting it. But as long as you are happy with it. djp
TheMission 8
I love it, but I also think it'll look more complete when I finish the roof and spoiler. I did the front emblem as well. jgranger1976
djp 18
I don't typically like it either, however the gas door is awesome
Lazerface 24
I think you could run the holden emblem on top of the wrap and itd look fine. would hide those holes/bends anyways. Edited April 12, 2013 by Lazerface
Lazerface 24
I also think you might try this with the hood. Follow the body lines? djp, Smikster and Chevygurlroq
djp 18
I also think you might try this with the hood. Follow the body lines? [img=http://i.imgur.com/ztWPTYN.jpg] That looks nice!
Lazerface 24
This is another look I tried. Not sure which I like better. and with blacked out grille trim Edited April 12, 2013 by Lazerface
TheMission 8
I thought about that look, but you'd have to have a plotter to cut the vinyl that way and it'd be really hard to apply. You really don't want to cut a razor down the body line on top of the paint. It'd be a cakewalk to do with plasti-dip or with real paint in the HPLV setup. It'd be my suggestion if you wanted to do the full grill/logo/body lines to spray it, as it would be very difficult to wrap and look good comparatively. Plastidip is removable and looks very similiar to the vinyl, but it takes experience to get it to lay well.
TheMission 8
I wish my rear paint looked like that, but they must have screwed up on the clearcoat. It is not smooth at all around the badge and you can see it both with or without vinyl on. Your Spark has a totally smooth paint surface around the holden emblem that is very different than mine.... SADLY. I think you could run the holden emblem on top of the wrap and itd look fine. would hide those holes/bends anyways.
Greg_E 211
I think I like the one with a little red between hood and grill best, definitely like it better than the entire hood wrapped.

The great part about wraps is that you can simply take it off when you want to change it to something else with the high cost of paint. Oracal makes some great material, which is used by virtually all major companies. I think they are from Germany.
mvp_scott 3
Love the red and black look. I have the black granite, blacked out my chevy bowties today. Not sure whats next. But I do need to get my windows tinted BAD.
Greg_E 211
How about paint the chrome to red for your black car? Or use pinstripe tape if you don't want to paint it.
mvp_scott 3
Yeah that would probably look pretty cool. I'm thinking about installing my stickerbombed 5 panel wink mirror. Would have to re-sticker it though because it came out of my civic SI. Covered in Honda stickers. lol
TheMission 8
Finished the back a bit. Still need to do the spoiler and maybe the roof. Widget
Ace 7
Looks good and all, but I wouldn't be using black in Texas. might bake yourself here.
jgranger1976 0
I love it, but I also think it'll look more complete when I finish the roof and spoiler. I did the front emblem as well. I have to say I think it looks pretty sick! Like a 1LE Camaro package!
jgranger1976 0
This is another look I tried. Not sure which I like better. and with blacked out grille trim The one in the middle is the "seet spot" I think...
