LukeC 3
Anybody seen any used Sparks at any dealerships yet?
Greg_E 211
There is a denim at my local dealer for $11,500 but I didn't look to see what pieces it was built from.
mightydog 3
11,500 seems like a lot for a used one
WaltK 305
Yahoo autos has 35 used Sparks listed across the country, and in a lot of cases they are more expensive than the new ones. http://autos.yahoo.com/used-cars/chevrolet-spark-overview.

Is that because they are hard to get?
Greg_E 211
If you priced used cars recently it is because used cars are just priced way too high. That is what got me to spend the extra money on my Spark, if a junky little 2008 Aveo was going to cost me $10,000, that extra step to $13,000 was not that large.
WaltK 305
Is that because they are hard to get? There was an article in the paper recently, stating that being they were only being sold in 19 select markets, some enterprising dealers, were buying up some new ones, and bringing them into markets where they are still not available. Couple that, with the skyrocketing cost of used cars, and the Spark becomes highly desirable.
Trancer07 30
I've already noted on this subject in another thread. It currently makes absolutely no sense to buy a used one at this point since it's such a new car. LS model sparks with over 13K miles are still selling for $13K. It's ridiculous!! I'll probably end up buying a used one in a year or two down the road when it will (hopefully) be down in price. Edited January 18, 2013 by Trancer07
