Driver side door lock broken

Key no longer works in driver side door lock. Happened overnight. No idea why this has happened. Still works in all other locks on car. 

 

I need the key code for a chevrolet dealer to be able to replace the lock, I am the third owner of this car and the key code was on a tag on the keys which presumably was lost a long time ago. I have never had it in my possession. 

 

How else can I get the key code?

They should be able to look it up by the VIN. If they say they can't I would check with a different dealer.

Any dealer or automotive locksmith should be able to get you the code and replace the lock.

Thanks, i will call car locksmith boca raton to get the key codes and replace the locks.

Which dealer or locksmith you are going to hire for that work?
