ddsans 0 Posted March 22, 2019 Share Posted March 22, 2019 2017 spark lt 12k miles. Every time I first start the car up the brakes squeak until they get warmed up. Is there anything I can do to quiet this? New brake pads/rotors? I never had a car with that much noise from brakes. Even my 07 cobalt I had. Link to post Share on other sites
atikovi 10 Posted March 25, 2019 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Not much you can do except park in a climate controlled garage. Moisture forms on the rotors and drums overnight causing surface rust. Wears away the first few times you brake. Jim2029 1 Link to post Share on other sites
