Mortos 0
My fiancé has a 2013 Chevy spark. This morning, the key broke off from the fob. The little plastic casing that holds it into the switchblade broke off so the key falls out. Now the key can be turned using pliers but won’t start. I tried holding the fob close while doing so in case there was a proximity portion but it didn’t help, and we cant turn it using the fob as it just twists around the key. Is there anything we can do to fix this ourselves?
Bobby MSME 100
Looks like you are going to need a new key made. If there is no spare key, your only option might be a visit to a gm dealer.
