KrazyLoCo 1
Hey all, Anybody have an idea how to get the damn rear wiper off to change it? Can't seem to find videos on the internet for 2016 model (only 2015 and below and Sonic). Didn't force too hard cuz I don't wanna break anything... Thanks
wi111y 1
It's in the owners manual... page 228 Rear Wiper Blade 1. Lift wiper arm away from rear windshield. 2. Push the wiper blade away from the wiper arm. 3. Once the blade pin disengages from the wiper arm, remove the wiper blade by sliding the blade off the arm. 4. Reverse Steps 1-3 to install a new wiper blade.
KrazyLoCo 1
Oh my God, I didn't even think to check the owner's manual. Lol. Thank you!
ShadowedJunichi 0
I followed these instructions, and in the process broke the arm trying to get the pin to disengage...

They break super easy. I had the same happen. It's easier to remove the whole arm and change the wiper. There is a plastic cover that covers the nut holding it to the motor. Remove the cover, the nut, and then pull the arm with a slight rocking motion and it will pull off.
Mk2021 0
how do you get the cover off? I tried following the owners manual instructions and couldn't get the blade off. I also tried the suggested instructions to remove the plastic cover to remove the whole arm and replace it that way and couldn't get the cover off. Super frustrating! It shouldn't be this hard to replace a windshield wiper. Edited September 19, 2021 by Mk2021
