mattbuc16 0
Two different FOBs. The metal piece that holds they key itself broke. Pin gone. Metal just broke. I just need the metal piece that holds the key. And I guess a pin that holds they key in place. I'm looking on eBay and Amazon and I'm finding shells. But my concern is the shells are just the plastic. I'm lost as to what to do. Help. I've read enough that I feel this is relatively a widespread problem. Class-action lawsuit should be out there ... but there isn't one. Help. Where do I get what I need to fix these stupid keys. I'm tired of using pliers to hold my key to start my car. Esp as now I've already lost one of the keys itself and am down to one. Matt
Ray Dockrey 97
Mine did it. I just bought a new remote, programmed it to the car, and then swapped the key part. I got the remote off of Ebay from a Chevy dealer for $30. Retired old Gearhead

Wise deal...a lot better than the huge costs of a lawsuit against an automotive giant as "mattbuc16" suggests...(Really??)
