silverspark78 5
Would it be safe to spray like spic n span or similar in the engine bay and rinse off with a garden hose or a low pressure spray option at the car wash? It's getting a little dirty under the hood.
Fire Spark 13
That would probably work just fine.
Bobby MSME 100
Why take a chance on a harsh solvent which could harm some sensors or seals somewhere in the engine bay? What I do not like about modern cars over those I owned in the 1960's is there are too many sensors to feed the computer. I would just use a pressurized air hose. Ray Dockrey 97
I use the low pressure at the car wash. I just use the normal soap option and keep the wand a distance away so its a little more gentle on the wiring and connections.
