I have a 2014 Spark that had its transmission replaced a couple years ago (only 15000 miles on it) and it took the dealer 6 weeks to replace it. Now it's in again for what I thought was the transmission, but the dealer stated that it's a lifter problem. They replaced the cam shaft but new lifters are out of stock. It's been 2 weeks and still no clue when they will have parts. Only have 32000 miles on it, which exempts me from a loaner, but this is crazy. Service rep claimed that this is a rare event, but after seeing the posts here, I'm seeing that this is a major issue. Is this a typical problem for the Spark, waiting forever for major parts? No source other then ordering from South Korea when needed?
