tootal2 3
Im getting better gas mileage now since I stop letting my car idle. I start my car up and take off right away.
WaltK 305
We are using summer blend now, in my neck of the woods, I average 29 mpg, with the ethanol, and 32 with the summer blend. This is 95% congested city driving.
njresler 14
E10 was developed to get rid of the evil MMT. But really it just bumps the octane and makes it cheaper for the oil companies.
cornflakes 9
I'm getting around 500km per 35 L which equals to about 14.2 km for 1 L of gas. Converted to MPG i think that's around 34 mpg. This is mostly with local driving. I guess all the red lights, and accelerating again is killing my MPG since our cars have such small HP and takes a lot of gas to accelerate with the traffic. greggb 7
The biggest farce with E10 gas? It takes MORE THAN A GALLON of fossil fuel to product a gallon of Ethanol ... Just one more reason with Ethanol is such a stupid idea. It solves nothing, but creates problems.
