Another Intake install (with proper vids)

Recommended Posts

Bought a DC Sports setup on eBay. Finally was warm enough to paint and install.

Wow that frees a ton of room.

This video is "before". Fun fact: This car chirps 2nd gear. (click the picture)

Idle and cruise under 2K sounds identical to OEM. WOT, it's borderline obnoxiously loud. It has a nice gurgle around town in 5th gear, as well.

I'll let you be the judge.

Any idea on where i could get the ingredients for that locally??

If your talking raw materials any metal supplier should have some stainless/aluminum tubing, granted you have a tig welder :P if you mean those components your only bet would be online. Im going to be ordering one soon :)

No changes in acceleration or power with this kind of intake. I don't feel any difference, just a nice grunt from the engine with my custom exhaust.

care to elaborate on your exhaust? that is going to be a project of mine sooner than later :)

post-1799-0-57030900-1414603997_thumb.jpThe engine does seem different from mine, here is a pic of the engine in my 2013 Spark, they add a GT logo to it but dont know what for.

The one I have is supposed to have 81HP, will try to do some minor mods but not much, its still under warranty.
