paulmarino66 0 Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 I have a 2014 Spark Ls and only had the car like 3 days and the malfunction indicator light came on made an appointment with the dealer and they said it was a defective knock sensor and they had to order the part took about a week took the car back in they replaced the sensor and not 2 days went by and the malfuction light is on again made another appointment but wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem. austex04 48 Posted March 3, 2014 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Sounds like the dealer just threw a part at it. Check lemon laws in your state, just in case the 3'rd or forth times a charm, lol, then buy a Kia or Toyota. So far I'm at 22k miles, and no engine light ever, no engine replacement, and a/c that was actually working when I last used it. I consider myself lucky so far. Good luck.
