weetsj 39 Posted October 19, 2012 Author Share Posted October 19, 2012 i already have one but when u do a group buy, you can only do it with people who live nearby you. i made a group buy for the bumperleds, but that was for only people in the netherlands. so that we shared the shipping costs and hade extra discount. after delivery wel all come together and i gave everyone there piece. when u do a groupbuy with people u don't know or live nearby, u have to ship the items again, and that will cost you ot a lot of money to note. it is indeed a lot of work to gather all the money, order it, keep track on it. pay taxes etc. but it whas woth it. the bumperleds normaly cost 99 dollar excl. shipping. (about 100 euros incl shipping) i found them @ exledusa and payd 60 euros per person including shipping and tax. now when i make a groupbuy or order something for somebody i ask for a little money for the effort and thats okay for the most (everybody) people Link to post Share on other sites
Greg_E 211 Posted October 19, 2012 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Sometimes the importer will allow a group buy and still ship to each person, there is still a big discount on the items because they are ordering larger numbers. If you can get a group buy up to a complete container, then you can get really big discounts, body kits would be one of these deals where they are easy to fill a small shipping container with just a few orders and might reduce the price by a couple hundred dollars (USD).
