Jason MacKenzie 3
Has anyone had any success with injen's SP7080P cold air intake with the 2013 1LT? or stories for that matter? any feed back would be great, thanks Jason
tommyspark 24
There are or were a couple people on here that got the intake. I decided against it. According to what I've been able to find online about it, it's a 3 HP gain at redline. How often will you be driving around at redline?
Hobo1 8
I have the intake. Growls under acceleration. As for driving at redline, nobody should.
psquare75 35
Maybe I'll wait for someone to sell theirs.
tommyspark 24
They're over $200. Cheapest I've seen was $208. I'm sure it looks and sounds awesome, but for that much I'll pass. You could build your own CAI for a fraction of that price, and literally get the same 3 HP at redline gain
Hobo1 8
Other downside too is the chrome. Hello waterspots! I'm powder coating mine in the spring.
psquare75 35
They offer a painted one.
tommyspark 24
Filter and MAF adapter included, you could build one for under 80 bucks and get the same benefits/performance
Hobo1 8
The painted one I believe comes in black. If it came in red I would of purchased it in red.
sparkshark 0
I have the Injen black intake and it looks great, works well.
Hobo1 8
I had the chrome one. Buddy powder coated it red for me but it didn't turn out the way we wanted. Going to re-do it in the spring, black.
