tommyspark 24
I emailed vector motor sports to see if they'd be interested in doing ECM's for the Spark. This is their response. Unfortunately, theyre located in Clinton Township, Michigan, and I'm too far, or I'd totally be all over this. Any takers? Someone PLEASE do so we can get flashed/programmed/tuned ECMs! We are interested in getting into the Cruze and Spark performance marketcoincidently... are you local to us?If you know of anyone interested in letting us use one of each of thosevehicles, we would do all of the tuning for free and cover all labor costs(wide band bung installation, cold air intake installation, etc).Let me know if you're interested...Thank you! vectormotorsports.com
psquare75 35
Um, realstically a tune will gain what, 6 HP? and require premium fuel? Not worth it.
tommyspark 24
No one knows. Whoever has the donor car will get a free tune. At that point we'd all know the actual gains etc
NOMAD 1
I actually live within an hour from there, but I bought this car for economy not power or performance and it has a long warranty. Even though FREE is great, I'm still pretty hesitant.
tommyspark 24
Wed have to wait n see, but on other gms they have a "stealth tune". Meaning there's no way for the service centers to know
NOMAD 1
Still, to let them mess with my car, they would have to get me better mileage and not ruin my warranty. If they could do both, I'd let them use mine.
tommyspark 24
Hitt em up. Send em an email. I bet they could get u both requests
Greg_E 211
They should be able to tune full throttle so there is more power, but not affect part throttle cruising. Might be able to change the way the auto. trans. shifts too.
malibuguy 14
Ive recently been in contact with another tuner trying to get something done for ours...and also hopefully get a setup so I can turbo it and have it tuned easily. The fab work doest scare me obviously, but having it tuned to run right is another story.
robertlane 18
A tune might unleashed not only more power, but some efficiencies as well. Smikster
