Kevin-Gara Brown 0
When I connect my iPhone with a cable the audio system cycles rapidly through a connection screen as if the connection is immediately failing. The iPhone has been paired using Bluetooth. I can connect my iPad without issue. I want to connect the iPhone so the phone battery does not get drained and I can access Pandora through MyLink. Anyone know what i am doing wrong?
tommyspark 24
Should have got a Droid Just kidding. does your phone have the latest update? I know with the mylink system some people have needed to take it to the dealer and get software updates too.... My guess is that. Just need to update something. The phone, car or both
bluer101 241
My iphone 5 works perfect with cable. I prefer it over Bluetooth now.

sparkfanatic 70
Are you using an aftermarket cable ? Is your case interfering with the connector making a solid connection . Sometimes it will work for charging but not be secure enough when you connect to the audio system . Sometimes I have to remove the aftermarket bumper case to get a solid connection . Also there were some updates as mentioned . My Iphone plays perfect , cable or Bluetooth .
