Cabin air filter

Starting this to compile a list of cabin air filters, not finding any locally so you may need to mail order.

Fram shows CF11175 which they list as also fitting 2012 Mazda 6 but still not finding anything that crosses locally. Rock auto has the best price so I'll probably order from them. More numbers later today when I finish digging them up.

Are there such filters that cuts down on interior dust and lint? I have that problem... Will clean the dash with armor all and the next day I have lint and dust all over it and my Mylink. Drives me crazy.......

Your problem is armor all it's a dust magnet.

The filter is behind the glove box and very difficult to find locally for me. Rockauto.com has a good selection and good prices so for the moment either them or your dealer.

Then I need to check if I have one. Dust constantly blows out of the vents. That is why I am shocked that they have them. I never roll the windows down, but the inside is always dusty,

Pledge works great on plastics, and helps repel dust. That's what I use, but remember, dark color really shows dust. Use micro fiber cloth for wiping down the plastics, it scratches easy.

I just use good old Armor All wipes. The scented ones.

I don't use any cleaner. Just wipe with a damp microfiber and dry right behind with a dry one. Do the whole interior with this.

So there is not a filter installed from the factory correct? I never understood why they do that. I found several on amazon, I'll pick one up.

There is a filter, just hard to find anywhere except the dealer and mine is already very dirty. Remove glovebox (who puts gloves in that box anyway?) and straight in front of you there are two snap tabs and a door about 8 inches wide. Pop the door open and you will see the white filter.

i use turtle wax ice interior spray. works on everything and my car is lint and dust free for weeks. oh and it doesn't leave an oily residue like amor all does, so your hands won't slip after u clean the steering wheel.

I just use a washcloth damp with water. Armor ruins dashes over time.
