Clicking Noise From Engine

Hi everyone!

I'm looking to get some feedback on this issue I've been having for a couple of days now.

My spark has been making a clicking noise every time I drive it and it's driving me crazy!

I bought it back in the end of April, so it's just over three months of driving.

I don't drive much, only to work and school, and it's just shy of 2000 mi right now.

I took it to the dealer today and he told me I have to bring it back next week during the week so we can file a report to technical support and so I can drop it off and leave it there for THREE DAYS to have the engine taken apart so that they can figure out the problem.

They all click, especially with the thin oils from the factory. But what is important is that they all click the same. If you have a different noise in one part than in the rest of the rocker cover, then you might have a problem. A light click is the normal sound at idle.

Mine clicks too, not really surprised seeing its a small engine etc. Oil too...

I wonder what your hearing is the fuel injectors? They're all noisy, even the Cruze loaner car made the clicking sound at idle. You should hear a GDI engine when first started on a cold morning, those make knocking sounds until they warm up.
