Burgandy25 0
Hello all, looking at the spark and Spark EV for possible first car after college.
austex04 48
Welcome! Each has it's pros and cons. You could buy two gasoline Sparks for the price of one ev, and can travel more than 300 miles without stopping for hours to charge. The ev would save travel expenses, depending on price per kwh, and should have much better acceleration on hills.
Mudflap 1
Good choices. How long until "after college"?
WaltK 305
Welcome to the forum! The EV will only be available in Oregon, and California, when they hit the market, that may have a bearing on your choices.
Greg_E 211
So the EV will be even more of an unwanted step child, the only reason to bring it in is to meet the minimum number of no emission vehicles in those states or in our country.
Trancer07 30
Nice to see another young Michigander interested in the Spark! I'm very determined to make this my next car. Save your pennies! Edited June 22, 2013 by Trancer07
