  1. Hi, I am a new Chevrolet Spark owner based in the UK, I have a 2011 spark 1.2 LT and I'm hoping to get some advice on the owning and maintaining of my spark from more experienced users out there.
  2. Hello All, Newbee here. I just bought a new to me 2015 Spark LT. I assume the LT is the nonfancy model. Standard shift 5 speed. My owner's manual doesn't really tell me what model it is. The former owner told me he hit some road debris on the interstate. He had just changed the oil the day before. He noticed it was leaking oil pretty badly. About a quart an hour. This ain't good. He parked it in the back yard and would have a look at it when he had time. It just had 60k miles and is a really clean car. I offered to buy it not knowing the source of the leak. He said shoot me a pric
  3. So this Saturday I went toe the shop and it was like 30°c out and as I dove in to the shops parking, I put the AC on and ten it started to smell very bad(it was definitely not a normal AC smell) (I also noticed the air was not that cold as usual) , so I turned it back of and stopped and went shopping, I came back drove out of the shopping center and thought to try the AC again(I noticed agen the air was not as cold as usual) , and the same very bad smell came back so I opened my windowffor air and went toe te next shop, like 8 km, and then I heard a wisseling son's and thought it was the car i
  4. Hi there!!! Just bought me a 2016 Spark LT with 25kmiles, it's in very good condition and I'm planning on using it to commute to work and travel to visit my family or just vacation somewhere. I have a Wrangler Rubicon and that beast like to eat gas like a mofo! Anyway, I have a question regarding the rear liftgate/tail gate. When it is open and you want to close it, I notice there is this "hole" where you are supposed to stick your hand in and just pull the gate but mine doesn't have a trim or a rubber piece; it's just a plain cut out hole maybe 2"x5" (radius corners, n
  5. Hi Spark Family! I'm the new owner of a 2015 Chevy Spark LT. Honestly, I love nearly all parts of the car but i'm having one concern. When I step on the gas and it accelerates in the 10 mile to 30 mile speed range, the vehicle gets a little shaky. I don't really know how to diagnose the problem but a friend said it could be the transmission not shifting properly. It's more of a back and forth shaking and it sometimes feels like its trying to brake when i'm not braking. Once I get passed 30, it drives like a beauty. The dealership I bought it from has a 30-day, 1,000 mil
  6. I'm thinking about buying a spark. I had a 02 focus zx5 and the transmission is shot. I was expecting to hate driving it and be uncomfortable but the test drive was great. More pep then I expected and I found it to be roomier then the 13 fiesta and '14 focus i test drove right before it. Im a little worried about a few things maybe this community can help with. cargo space I don't need much but I frenqunetly have a guitar with me maybe a small amp( forgot the size 12 inch speaker in the cabinet though skinny profile should fit. I also kayak I found yamika(no idea if I'm even cl
  7. Hey Everyone! I am planning to install a Infinity BassLink in my 2015 Chevy Spark LT. I have a cheap Soundstream headunit with RCA outs for the sub. I understand I will need to run a power, ground, remote, remote turn on and RCA cables. The actual setup is not to confusing to me. My problem is-- I have never done anything other than a headunit/speaker install in a car. I am guessing the wires will run through/under the trim and carpets but I am not sure how to actually do this. I'll be running from the driver side of the trunk to the stereo in the dash. Does anyone have any tips or pictures
