  1. Anyone else having a tough time finding a place that can copy the ignition key for a 2014 Spark? I need a key just to lock/unlock the door while I let the car warm up in subzero temps. Dealership only has the $75 remote unit. Local locksmith couldn't help. Nor could Home Depot.
  2. I have a 2013 Spark LT and I have had two remotes that wore through the rubber/plastic at the "unlock" button. One has been replaced under warranty by my dealership and the replacement is already showing signs of wearing through again right around the underlying button, after maybe 6 months of use. I use the "lock" button just as often as the "unlock" button and there are no signs of wear to it. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem? I don't have long fingernails and I don't keep my keys in my pocket at home or at work and I am the only driver of this vehicle so I don't think anything I am doing is causing this. It just seems like very cheap material/workmanship to me. Just curious to know if anyone else has had similar problems with their remote. Thanks!
  3. Hi all. I recently bought a 2013 1.0LS Spark here in the UK. Found lots of useful info and advice on this forum. I was wondering if I was supposed to get a key fob remote with it. I only got to standard keys with it. Is that normal. The manual mentions a remote but it's possible they share the same manual across versions. If you lock or open the car from the driver's door with the supplied key it centrally opens or closes all the doors so it already has central locking. If it doesn't have a fob can a third party one be fitted just to control just the driver's door as it is already linked and separate actuators are probably not needed in all doors. Sorry if it has already been covered and thanks in advance for any help.
  4. How many keys did you get with your new Chevy Spark? I plan on getting the 1LT but I figure the LS comes with the same number of keys...does the Spark come with a valet key?
