  1. This is a thread for my 2017 Spark LT 5spd, I haven’t done much too it yet, just springs, wheels and a couple interior bits. I hope to be the first to swap in a built Sonic engine (1.4T) and build a rally ready spark (my history is with rally prepared MINIs) but for now I’m getting to know the car and what it is all about. i plan to keep up with it on here and as always on IG @speedyspeedboiii
  2. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F193166478973 I bought these coilovers for my 2017 at $650 on eBay thinking they would fit but they didn’t. The rears have anti seize on them but the front never came out the box for install so it’s all there and unused for only 450 and I am open to offers since I can’t make much use of them. Selling these to buy the more expensive BC racing Coilovers that are actually meant to fit my car.
  3. I have a 2016 Electric Spark which performs terribly going over speed humps or through rain drainage gutters. Is there anything I can do to the suspension to help this? The only way I have found so far to improve the situation is to lean forward in the seat when I am about to go over the bump/depression. That really works, but I'd rather solve the problem in a less burdensome way..
  4. So it’s come to my attention that the m300 coilovers will fit the m400 spark. This is awesome since it means a set of Megan racing EZ streets with the stock rubber bushings will set you back $649 (w/free lower USA shipping) instead of having to drop the $995 on BC racing Coilovers. However, this has led me to wonder, due to a similar appearance that perhaps Chevy Sonic Coilovers will fit. If anyone has any info on this or a way to help me find out it would be so so helpful as it would open up even more options as far as performance suspensions and the like.
  5. I have a used '14 LT and recently took a look at the rear suspension. Currently I only have coil springs installed. Wondering if that is supposed to be that way. Are the rear struts an OEM addition to the 2LT or should I be taking it back to the Chevy dealer that sold me the car and try to get this fixed under some warranty issue (I still have about 6K miles left on the warranty and even though I bought it used would it be worth the try). Anyone out there already have rear shocks already installed or is this an anomaly exclusive to my car? Suggestions anyone?
  6. Among some other ongoing issues, had the tires rotated during regular oil change by Chevy dealer and driving home, noticed some noise from front driver's side wheel. Sounded like something rubbing. Took the car back and they said the tires are cupped due to lack of regular tire rotation. Well, owners manual states every 7,500 miles to rotate and I've had three rotations by dealerships in 22,000 miles... that is in alignment with the manual. Had second dealership check them and they said same thing... cupping... tires needing replaced and possible alignment! Has anyone else had problems wi
  7. I'm wondering what taller tires on the stock rims might do for me and how they would look. Or 17" wheels with standard sized tires for Anyone?
