I wanted to post this since I haven't seen anyone with this for a Spark of any year. I have successfully installed an aftermarket pedal commander and I'm very excited to say that it works well. The model is a 9 Drive unit from Amazon ( Model 807 ). It does have to be manually programmed though. It will not work out of the box with current settings until it is manually set. Other wise it will throw two separate codes reporting that the accelerator and throttle control are overcurrent ( Code 84 This is in the M400 models with 1.4l 1. i took this 2014 Chevrolet Spark to the mountains. Its only a 85 hp engine. Thus it was behaving pretty badly on the I70. I was driving at around 30-40 mph.. To make sure the engine did not blow up. The car was not very good at acceleration anyway but after I returned I think the problem increased. Colorado roads are too up and down. So whenever I am trying accelerate on uphill, the car engine groans a lot. The engine fluctuates and the car rocks like a boat front and back.. Like its accelerating then immediately losing power, then again accelrating and losing power like that.. Under 3000 rpm i

I’m at my wits end with my 2015 Chevrolet Spark. I’m just going to list the issues I’ve had and the response I’ve received from our local dealership. 3 times Spark has accelerated. Sitting at stoplight, light turns green, I press thengas petal and Spark revs to 5,000 RPM’s at take off. I press the brake petal over and over and nothing. I cannot stop the car, not slow it down. Taken in to dealer and I’m always told nobody else has ever had the problem and they cannot recreate it. I consider myself very lucky that the episodes have lasted only 5-7 seconds and I haven’t wrecked into anyone.

Loved my 2014 Spark and decided to trade it in on a 2015 Spark with more features earlier this year. 2 days in to having the car, it was taken in because it wouldn't accelerate when on the highway. The dealership ended up replacing the flywheel. Most of my driving is local and highway (55mph & higher) is usually 20 minutes or less. First extended travel on highway, 30 minutes into the trip, the car decelerated on inclines and would not accelerate in a normal manner that would be considered safe. Took the car to the dealership and they found nothing on diagnostics. Told me to use "Premiu
