  1. Trade it in! You'll wonder why you waited so long. I am so glad I got rid of mine, after one year, eight months.
  2. I strongly disliked my 2013 Spark, that I bought new: Terrible blind spot issues. Horrible AC, even after a complete replacement, on my fifth visit. I traded it in after one year, eight months. I never would consider buying another one.
  3. After one year and eight months, my Spark is history. I couldn't be happier. I consider the Spark to be the worst car I ever owned when it came to blind spot issues. The idiotic design of the back seat door panels defied common sense: Why put door handles in black panels that take up important rear window space, thus limiting visibility of the road for the driver? Unbelievable! Placement on the horizontal door/window interface, as in 90% of all other cars out there, would have been far better. Also, if you're going to put outside mirrors on a car, and you are, does it not make sense to
  4. I find it funny how some folks, here, say there's no problem with blind spots on the 2013. I guess those folks enjoy changing lanes on a wing and a prayer. All over the internet, the blind spots are an acknowledged problem. GM is now making rectangular mirrors that replace the joke mirrors on the 2014 Spark, but it is not known if they'll fit the 2013. As for those who say the AC is fine---come on you Chevy/GM employees, stop padding these forum reviews! Since I put up my original post, there has been a recall on the AC. I've had mine in four times, finally demanding, and getting, a tota
  5. I regret ever buying my 2013 Spark. It has blind spots as big as a truck, thanks to the ridiculous rear window panel door handles and the horribly small, absurdly-shaped, outside mirrors. Has anyone replaced those mirrors? I know there are GM mirrors available that are actually larger than the OEM mirrors, but they code for the 2014 Spark. Thing is, the original mirrors code for both the 2013 and 2014 Spark, so I can't help but belueve the bigger mirrors will fit my 2013 model. Any info is appreciated.
  6. I've now had my Spark for six months. It gets driven about thirty miles per day. These are my impressions: 1. It's a cheaply made car that looks cool and is fun to drive. People notice it and ask about it. The engine performance and braking are good to very good. Handling is good. 2. It is surprisingly roomy inside. 3. The AC is very low quality. Check around online and you will find all sorts of info on this. It fails to keep you cool when the temperature outside gets over 90 degrees. You won't swelter, inside, but you won't be cool. 4. This is the WORST car I've ever owned when it comes to
  7. I am trying to view videos on my MyLink screen. I have tried via USB devices and my Bluetooth-linked phone. Nada. If anyone has successfully watched videos on their screen, please post exactly how you did it. I get cued about service packs and other incompatibility issues. Thanks for your time.
  8. The passenger side blind spot is terrible. I have placed convex spots on the outside mirrors, but the problem is still there. The shape of the mirrors is part of the problem but the plastic panels that allow the Spark to have almost hidden rear door handles is the biggest problem. Where you normally would have glass, from the windows, you have opaque black plastic. It is enough of a problem, for me, to the point where I won't buy another Spark unless it is redesigned to eliminate the aforementioned panel
