  1. 2013 Subaru Outback Limited, 2013 Spark 2LT, 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8... that's it. Would love a classic but won't be in the funds for years.
  2. Refer to owner's manual for transmission fluid grade and amount. This is reference for anyone that wants to know how to change the fluid and highly suggest bringing to the dealership to have the work completed.
  3. 1) Raise and supoort the vehicle. 2) Remove the drain pulg and drain transmission fluid. 3) Suggestion of removing and replacing gasket. 4) Tighten drain plug to 17N*m (13lb ft). 5) Remove the air cleaner assembly.6) Remove the range selector level cable bracket. 6) Remove the fill plug. 7) Fill the transmission to the proper level with correct fluid. 8) Tighten the fill lug to 30N*m (2lb ft). 9) Install the range selector lever cable bracket. 10) Install the air cleaner assembly.
  4. The manual says needs transmission fluid changed at 75000 miles. Mine was accidently drained. So have to refill it. Wasn't hard to do at all just finished it and trans fills same as before. Without being able to check the levels afterwards I wouldn't suggest doing it but I had to out of necessaity.
  5. Also played trumpet, baritone, and tuba. Been a long time since I picked one up... probably 2003.
  6. Not in a band but do play a little bit. Here's my list of toys. Gibson Custon DG-335 in ebony, Gibson Les Paul Studio in brandywine, and Fender Sonoran Acoustic. Marshall half stack trying to convince my wife that I need an Orange amp
  7. Why put 93 octane in it? I have a car that requires 93 and I must say I was looking for a car that had 87 for my daily driver. When you put 600-700 miles a week on a vehicle that 50 cents a gallon adds up quickly.
  8. First step is to drain everything out of the transmission then fill the transmission to the 4.5 qts that is required. Pretty straight forward process. Once I'm done I'll do a write up of the process.
  9. The bolt that needs to be removed is the bolt to the left of the black bracket w/ the blue on it. Just got back from the dealer and got all the information needed. Thanks. If anyone else tries to do this remember there is no way for you to accurately check the levels.
  10. Removed the air filter and moved over the throttle cable. This is my view. Believe I need to remove the bracket and should be where I need to be.
  11. Not sure about the 71. My challenger has the modern 392 cc.
  12. Trying to figure out where to add transmission fluid. Looked all over and read that this car has a dipstickless trans. Thanks
  13. Thanks, it was green or pink so went w/ the jalapeno
  14. Nice car... did you do the same as me?? Buy the spark to keep miles off the real toy? Commuting in my Challenger was piling miles on so decided to get a commuter.
